I suspect the Z60 has the same problems with the fan that the T60 has. I just had to get my fan and entire system board replaced by Lenovo because the fan was so awful, the board would overheat and then finally fried. The tech basically said the fan was the worst one ever made (I never had this problem in previous T series laptops) and that it needs a thorough cleaning at least once a month (can of air) and should be replaced every 6 months to prevent the board from frying. At least it's easy to access, directly under the keyboard... *SIGH*
