RIP Floppy disk

I can't remember when was the last time I actually used a floppy. I actually still have one machine with a floppy drive, and can't even tell whether it works or not.

Today Sony announced the death of the floppy. They were apparently the last manufacturer.

Time to let it go.

Dailyshoot #123 - Old thing, timeless

Dailyshoot 123:

Find something that's so old it's almost timeless and make a photograph of it.

I went to the Roundhouse in Yaletown and took a picture of the CPR 374 locomotive:

Daily shoot #122 - 2 minutes away

I have been taking part of Dailyshoot, sporadically. This is assignment 122:

Grab your camera and walk 2 minutes in any direction. Stop. Find a photo worth making from where you stopped and post it.

2 minutes is enough to get me to the Vancouver Public Library. Where I snapped this scene.

Daily shoot #121 - Three

Assignment 121:

Today's theme is "3". Make a photograph that features the number itself or otherwise represents 3 items.

I grabbed this partial street number on Hamilton Street in Yaletown:
