Microsoft posted some interroperability B.S.. Read more with Hakon Lie open response; Hakon Lie is Norway based Opera Software's CTO, co-inventor if CSS. Standblog also has a good comment (fr) on this.

Actually, the people who posted the BS is Opera, not MS. MS is interoperating with 90% of the world: and that's IE (and they even support Mozilla just fine). They wouldn't care less about Opera and that hurts them and that's why they bark like dogs.

Besides, Opera doesn't work with maps.google.com. And that's not because their browser can't handle the javascript, but because Opera themelves SPECIFICALLY DECIDED to not support XSLT on purpose, and too bad for them, Google uses it. And then Opera talks about interoperability?
