Did you "import" or "link" your graphics files ?

I've written several presentation using OOo impress and I never had any issues with images. I did have problems with font going back and forth between windows and gentoo, but other than that, it's always worked as expected.

Maybe someone from the ximian-office project (if they are in guadec) could give you hand :)

By default, OOo links images into your document, particularly if you use drag-drop. You have to go "Edit->Links->[Check all]->Break Links" to embed the images. Otherwise the file is not portable to another machine unless you also copy all the files over that are linked, and put them in the same path.

It's bitten me a number of times before.
